Here is a  good way to get freebies for yourself, but there is one important reminder. Be sure you are always honest when you proceed with this idea.

The first move to receiving free things in the mail is to remember a recent unpleasant experience you had with a company. What you will do is contact that company and explain what happened. Companies prefer to know how their customers perceive their products and service.

For example, let’s assume you attempted to use a vending machine to buy a soft drink, but the machine ate your money. Okay then you need to find another product for the soft drink company to obtain a telephone number to call or an address to write to.

Use the information to contact the company and voice your concern about the experience. Explain what happened in a brief summary. Make sure to provide your address. Don’t be afraid to tell them how the bad experience affected you. For instance, “I only had $1.25 with me and after the machine ate the money, I had no money or drink.”

If you write a professional letter, you will likely receive a prompt reply with a coupon, replacement product, or a voucher. Sometimes the free mail stuff can be for more than what you lost. This can work for your friends and family members too if they experienced something similar. Again, be honest and don’t abuse this tip.

Another suggestion is if you are holding a local event or fundraiser, you should contact companies that sell other more expensive items. Frequently they will be glad to donate items as prizes.

Most companies would like to keep you as a customer and will try to make you happy. They know an unsatisfied customer will likely share their unpleasant experience with others. They would like to rectify the situation quickly and have you share a positive experience instead. Don’t be unprofessional or rude, but let them know in no uncertain terms that you’re very unsatisfied with their product. The more they think you are upset about your experience, the more free stuff they will send you.

Getting freebies for yourself is not that dificult if you just go about it the right way.
